loaded question

a co-worker of mine just asked me what type of music i listen to and, more importantly, what my favorite band was. i hate this question because for me it is a VERY loaded question.

i told him this:

"i hate that question because it's damn near impossible for me to answer, but if i must, then i say that my favorite band is The Black Crowes, my favorite musician is Eric Clapton because he not only taught himself to play the guitar amazingly once, but then he was in a car accident and due to amnesia had to re-teach himself guitar all over again and the results speak for themselves, i think the best rock song ever written is The Who - Baba Oreily, but the best rock song of my generation is Weezer - Say It 'Aint So, my favorite song ever is Pantera - Cowboys From Hell which is also a great album, but my favorite song right now is John Lennon's Imagine as performed by Jordis Unga on Rock Star: INXS, and my favorite album is The Toadies - Rubberneck, but to answer your question, i listen to anything though i only tolerate country music, i do not enjoy it, and this list would be 5 times bigger if i were to include classical, jazz, or blues."

he looked at me like i had three heads and nodded slowly and said "i like rock too" as he walked away.
